🔍 VOCABULARY WORDS

📌Instill (verb) - To gradually and firmly introduce or implant a particular idea, habit, or quality in someone.

Example sentence: "Parents often try to instill good values in their children."

📌Immediate conditioning (noun phrase) - The process of quickly training or teaching someone to respond to a particular stimulus or situation.

Example sentence: "The military uses immediate conditioning to prepare soldiers for combat."

📌Countermanding (noun) - The act of canceling or revoking a previous order or command.

Example sentence: "The general issued a countermanding order to halt the mission due to safety concerns."

📌Second guess (verb) - To doubt or question a decision or action after it has been made.

Example sentence: "She couldn't help but second guess her choice of college."

📌Pit against each other (phrase) - To set two or more individuals or groups in competition or conflict with each other.

Example sentence: "The manager's decision to pit the two teams against each other created tension in the workplace."

📌Compete (verb) - To take part in a contest or rivalry with others, usually to achieve a goal or win a prize.

📌Imperative (adjective) - Extremely important or necessary; crucial.

Example sentence: "It is imperative to follow safety guidelines when working with hazardous materials."

📌Sympathize (verb) - To express or feel compassion or pity for someone who is experiencing hardship or difficulty.

Example sentence: "I sympathize with her loss and offer my condolences."

📌Empathize (verb) - To understand and share the feelings or emotions of someone else.

Example sentence: "As a therapist, she has the ability to empathize with her clients and provide support."

✖You said: I'm going to read again from the first.
✔Better say: I will read/start again from the beginning.
