Example: The construction work is already in progress.

✖You said: If there is many things on progress, generally i get distracted. If you distracted then you could be demotivated and lose your concentration or even though you can keep your concentration, the speed that you reach to your goal will be slow.
✔Better say: If there are many things in progress / If there are many things going on at the same time, I generally lose my focus. If you lose (your) focus, you could be demotivated and this can slow down the speed at which you reach your goal/s.

✖You said: During work here, I want to feel achievement.
✔Better say: While I’m (still) working here, I want to feel a sense of achievement // While I’m still here, I want to feel like I’ve achieved something.
