🔍 VOCABULARY WORDS

📌merger and acquisition (noun): the process where two companies combine (merger) or one company purchases another (acquisition).

Example sentence: "The merger and acquisition between the two tech giants created a dominant player in the industry."

📌char (verb): to partially burn something, causing it to blacken but not be completely consumed by fire.

Example sentence: "She used a torch to char the surface of the wooden table for a rustic look."

📌charred (adjective): blackened or burned on the surface, often due to high heat or fire.

📌check on (phrasal verb): to look at or examine someone or something to make sure they are safe, well, or in good condition.
